On February 14, the 2023 Pudong New Area International Shipping Center Core Area High-quality Development Conference, hosted by the People's Government of Shanghai Pudong New Area, was held in Pudong New Area. HANG Yingwei, Director General of Pudong New Area, delivered a speech at the conference, and senior executives from leading shipping companies and institutions around the world also sent video messages for the conference. Pudong New Area, Shanghai Customs and Shanghai Maritime Safety Bureau have all issued measures to support the development of Pudong shipping.

The conference also included an award ceremony and a project signing ceremony for the top ten innovative cases of international shipping in Pudong New Area in 2022. The Shanghai Maritime Court and the People's Government of Pudong New Area signed a memorandum of cooperation at the meeting.

The signing ceremony of Pudong Shipping High-quality Development Partnership Program was subsequently held. Shanghai headquarters of CMAC was invited t as one of the partners and signed the contract. In order to build the core area of the international shipping center of Pudong New Area, Shanghai Pudong New Area Shipping Service Office and the first batch of 9 well-known shipping institutions at home and abroad jointly launched the Pudong Shipping High-quality Development Partnership Program, and agreed to carry out cooperation in three aspects: improving high-end service levels, aggregating shipping resources, and building a global shipping vane.
