The 1st "International Marine Economy and Maritime Services Forum" was held successfully in Ningbo, from 11 Nov to 12 Nov. The forum was co-hosted by CCPIT and Ningbo Municipal People's Government, and was jointly co-organized by CMAC, CCPIT Commercial Legal Service Center, CCPIT Ningbo Sub-Council, Ningbo Municipal Development and Reform Commission and Management Committee of Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone (Management Committee of Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone Ningbo Area).

Dr. KE Liangdong, Vice Chairman of CCPIT, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, CAI Chenfeng, Director of CCPIT Commercial Legal Service Center, moderated the forum. Vice Chairman KE Liangdong and Vice Mayor JIN Shan signed Memorandum on Cooperation on Jointly Promoting the Construction of Marine-Centered City respectively on behalf of CCPIT and Ningbo Municipal People's Government.

As a specific measure to implement the Memorandum, Ningbo International Maritime and Commercial Dispute Resolution Centre was announced to be established on the forum. Dr. LI Hu, Vice Chairman of CMAC, XIE Changqing, Vice President of the Arbitration Court of CIETAC, CAI Chenfeng, Director of CCPIT Commercial Legal Service Center, XIA Qun, Vice President of CCPIT Ningbo Sub-Council, ZHENG Huafeng, Deputy Director of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Justice, and WU Xianjiang, Vice President of Ningbo Maritime Court, unveiled the centre on behalf of respective partners.
